Dallas, Arlington, and Fort Worth were the first stops on the Tour de Texas. We hit Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor School Book Depository museum to see where JFK was shot. It was surreal to actually be there, seeing the window and the X in the road. We also visited Southern Methodist University (pleasant surprise) and the old Cotton Bowl Stadium. We toured $1.5 billion dollar Cowboy Stadium and got some on field pics too. From Cowboy Stadium, we made the short drive to Fort Worth and went to the World's Largest Honkytonk, Billy Bob's. We ended the night at the Texas Rangers baseball game. Enjoy the pics.

Texas - Dallas, Arlington, and Fort Worth
We had planned for almost a year to go to Texas this past weekend. We almost cancelled at the last minute due to the last two weeks of unplanned travel, but we stuck it out. It was a long way out there, but we had a blast seeing new places and old faces.
