Fourth Anniversary "Escape" to Memphis

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Baar for babysitting overnight this past weekend, so that Brandy and I could get a quick "escape" for our anniversary. We knew that we couldn't get too far and we've seen just about everything there is to see in the surrounding area. Yet, we still had a couple of things to do in Memphis, so we took off at noon on Friday and got back by around 3:00 on Saturday. We finally did the Sun Studio Tour, where Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, etc. all recorded. Sun Studio also reports to be where the first rock and roll song originated....Rocket 88. Really cool tour. From there, it was off to the Peabody Hotel, then to Beale Street, and then to dinner at Texas De Brazil. Workout, massages, and hot tub the next morning before blowing it on some food from world famous Dyer's Burgers. There's an interesting story behind Dyer's. Google it if you want to learn more. Again, great time. Here are some pics.
